Ivorian defender Willy Boly has officially joined English Premier League club Nottingham Forest, from Wolves on a two-year-deal.

The defender decided to dump Wolves after failing to turn up in Sunday’s game against Newcastle United despite that he was included in the matchday squad.

Having spent four seasons with the Wanderers with 147 matches in all competitions, the 31-year-old did everything possible to move to the City Ground.

He joins Forest, who return to the English Premier League after 23 years, and the side have managed just four points from their first four games before losing 6-0 at Manchester City on Wednesday night.

The result meant they had conceded 11 goals so far, and manager Steve Cooper wanted further defensive reinforcements.
