Bayer Leverkusen has earned a reputation as the ideal stepping stone for the sale of many of its excellent young players to major teams throughout Europe.
The Bundesliga outfit who is regarded as a springboard for young players has made close to €600 million just from player transfer sales in the last decade.
According to Goal, six of the top seven sales by Bayer Leverkusen were no older than 23 when they left the Bundesliga club including stars such as Hakan Calhanoglu, Heung-Min Son, and Kai Havertz.

Bayer Leverkusen has never won the Bundesliga title in their history despite boasting some of the brightest talents in German football in the past.
Leverkusen has won one DFB-Pokal and one UEFA Cup and also finished as runner-up in the 2001–02 UEFA Champions League, falling 2–1 to Real Madrid in the final.

Bayer Leverkusen sign Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Bayer Leverkusen has signed England international Callum Hudson-Odoi on a season-long loan from Premier League club Chelsea, the clubs confirmed on Tuesday.
The winger, who has played 126 times for Chelsea after coming up through the club's academy, arrived in Leverkusen on Monday morning for a medical.
Hudson-Odoi, who has three England caps, has been a bit-part player under Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and wants to play more regularly ahead of the World Cup in November.
