The new Black Stars forward was replaced by Gorka Guruzeta after appearing to be in discomfort following the knock.
According to reports, it is his first injury since 2016, having played in every La Liga game for the club for the past six years.

Meanwhile, Williams opened the scoring for Athletic Club in the 24th minute, having earlier missed a penalty.
