Valencia’s bid to sign a top-class striker has been successful as the La Liga club has agreed to sign former Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani.
The 35-year-old Uruguayan forward has been without a club since leaving the Red Devils as a free agent this summer and is set to complete the move to the La Liga side within the next 24 hours.
According to Football Espana, Valencia reached a verbal agreement with Edinson Cavani over a two-year contract and the Uruguayan is expected to fly out to the Spanish city from Madrid to seal the deal.

Canavi is expected to lead the Valencia attacking set-up which currently boasts of young forwards such as Maxi Gómez, Hugo Duro, and Marcos Andre.
