Jules Koundé is ready to win titles with FC Barcelona.
The French defender admitted that after making his first competitive debut for the Catalan giants.
Koundé featured for Barcelona as they took on Real Valladolid at the Camp Nou, a match that Barca won 4-0. Fellow new signing, Robert Lewandowski, grabbed a brace during the game, BBC reported.
Koundé had not played in the Blaugrana’s opening two games of the season as Barcelona could not register him with La Liga.

After the game, Koundé admitted that he felt very good but still needed to get back to his best level, Barca Universal reported.
He added that he was happy to finally play as he had come to Barca to win titles and continue growing as a player.
Koundé started the game in the right-back position but was moved to his preferred centre-back position at the hour mark. However, he admitted that while his natural post was in the centre, he was happy to play right back if the coach needed him to.

Barcelona have one specialist right back in the side in Sergino Dest, but the defender has fallen out of favour at the club. Barca have yet to sign a new defender for the position, with Dest hoping he will be allowed to prove himself in the side if no replacement is found.
