An emphatic 9-0 win against the newly-promoted side ensured Liverpool enjoyed their biggest-ever Premier League win, becoming just the fourth team to score nine in one match.

A brace from forwards Luis Diaz and Firmino, laced with solitary strikes from Alexander-Arnold, Harvey Elliot, defender Van Dijk, Carvalho and an own goal from Mepham ensured they blitzed past the Cherries in front of an expectant Anfield crowd.
