Match of the Week:

Bayern Munich and Borussia Mönchengladbach’s game promises to be a classic. The two sides are currently one and two on the Bundesliga table and are separated by two points. Bayern have scored 15 goals in their three games, while Mönchengladbach have scored just six. Both teams are unbeaten.

What the league table looks like?

The Bundesliga’s top scorers:

Bayern’s impressive form in front of goals has led to their players dominating the scoring charts after just three games.

Three things to look out for in match week 4:

Can Borussia Mönchengladbach cause another upset?

Bayern Munich have been dominating the Bundesliga for some time, but they haven’t had it all their way against Mönchengladbach. In the past nine games between the two sides, Mönchengladbach have beaten the champions five times and drew with them once. Last season they dumped them out of the DFB Pokal by thrashing them 5-0.

Can RB Leipzig avert a crisis?

The DFB-Pokal champions were expected to pose a serious challenge to Bayern Munich but have so far failed to fire. Leipzig have drawn two games, lost one, and next face a Wolfsburg side who are on the same number of points as them. The pressure is now mounting on coach Domenico Tedesco.

Can Borussia Dortmund bounce back?

Arguably the biggest shock of last week’s results was Dortmund’s defeat at the hands of Werder Bremen. Dortmund were leading 2-0 with the game almost up, but conceded in the 89th, 93rd and 95th minute to spectacularly lose. They next play Hertha Berlin, a team that only managed to pick up one point from their first three points.

Bayern Munich's dominance underlines that the Bundesliga champions are better without Robert Lewandowski

Bayern Munich are not missing Robert Lewandowski.

The Polish striker left the German giants for FC Barcelona in the summer, and many were concerned that Bayern would suffer as a result.

Instead, the Bundesliga champions have been absolutely rampant in Germany's top flight.
