Tottenham Hotspur face the prospect of being drawn into the group of death when the Champions League draw takes place on Thursday, August 25.
The north Londoners are making a return to the European elite competition for the first time in two years.

However, last term, they secured a ticket to feature in this season's Champions League after sealing a fourth-place finish in the Premier League under the tutelage of Antonio Conte.

Tottenham face horror Champions League draw
The Sun now reports that the Premier League side are facing a horror Champions League draw that could see them come up against top European clubs.
According to the publication, Tottenham are in Pot 2 of the draw alongside fellow English sides Chelsea and Liverpool as well as Barcelona and Juventus.
As such, they are likely to be drawn against reigning champions Real Madrid, who are in Pot 1 alongside Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto and Ajax.
In Pot 3, Conte's side could be pitted against former side Inter Milan, with Marseille completing a set of four teams.
