Wesley Fofana pushing for Stamford Bridge
While Leicester's huge asking fees for Fofana could see Chelsea back down in their attempts to sign him, the French youngster is said to be desperate to move to Stamford Bridge.
The centre-back is understood to be pushing for the transfer and even missed a training session in the build up to his side's defeat to Southampton at the weekend.
His move to push for a move away has now earned him punishment from Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers.
Man City interested in Arsenal defender as transfer deadline draws close
FootballThe English tactician has revealed that Fofana has been ordered to train with Leicester City’s Under-21s after attempting to force through a transfer to Chelsea.
"He’s not training with the first team. He’s training with the Under-21s so he can get his football fitness and keep working," Rodgers was quoted saying.
"It’s so important at this stage to control any sort of distractions that may be there. I can only pick players who give that full commitment to play for the first team. If not, he trains with the Under-21s," he added.
