Tyrell Malacia earns praise from Hakim Ziyech
While Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez stole the limelight for their display in the heart of defence, Ziyech was more impressed with Malacia.
Malacia was making his full debut for the Red Devils against Liverpool and was responsible for marking Salah.
And the youngster did not disappoint as he managed to keep the Egyptian under wraps for the better part of the match.
His performance saw Ziyech take to Instagram in praise of the 23-year-old, who he described as a "young king."
Metro UK reports that Ziyech and Malacia appear to share a close bond despite not being teammates.
However, both players have had the opportunity to turn out for Ajax before moving to the Premier League.
