Pitso Mosimane is not known for mincing his words, and has gone on the offensive regarding another bee in his bonnet.
This time, the revered mentor is not happy with what he describes as the attempted sabotage of his Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools initiative, a passion project aiming at invigorating football at school level across the country.
According to SowetanLIVE, Mosimane alleged that an unnamed and powerful individual had influenced certain companies to not associate with the project.
He said:

“I was shocked by two big companies that wanted to be associated with my brand but they were given strict orders by the powerful person not to do anything with [my] name. They are even sabotaging Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools at the expense of the schools.
“Karma has all our addresses”.
Mosimane has not given as much as a hint why and how he came into conflict with this individual.
Meanwhile, Sport24 reported that the 57-year-old was targeting an African Cup of Nations title in his glittering career, during which he has won everything bar the FIFA Club World Cup and Egyptian Premier League where he has coached.
Mosimane added:
“A certain team enquired and I like that team. In fact teams. One national team and a club. A national team that I think deserves to win an African Cup of Nations.”

FootballPitso Mosimane has made more history in his coaching career.
As reported by Sports Brief, the former Al Ahly, Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana coach has received his Confederation of African Football Pro License. An equivalent of the revered UEFA-A License, this allows the 57-year-old Mosimane to apply for any coaching job at any level on the planet.
According to reports, he worked towards this qualification for three years while also having to navigate past the obstacles that the Covid-19 pandemic posed.
