Bayern Munich were at their devastating best as the German champions thrashed VfL Bochum 7-0 on Sunday afternoon.
New signing Sadio Mane bagged two goals for the reigning Bundesliga champions, who were 4-0 up in the first half before adding another three in the second.
Fellow summer signing Matthijs de Ligt was also on target as Julian Nagelsmann’s side ran riot.
Germany international Leroy Sane opened the scoring with a wonderful curler after four minutes. De Ligt made it 2-0 with a powerful header on his debut in the Bundesliga before the half-hour mark.

Eight minutes later, speedster Kingsly Coman finished off a close-range effort, and just before half time, the Frenchman assisted Mane to make it four.
Bayern were awarded a penalty in the 58 minute after Coman was brought down in the box which Mane converted to make it his second on the day.
Cristian Gamboa put through his own net and substitute Serge Gnabry crashed home a low drive from the edge of the box to seal the rout.
The result sees Bayern retain their perfect start and take their usual place at the summit of the Bundesliga, with Bochum propping up the table.
