The Spanish Football League body's attempts at rendering Kylian Mbappe's lucrative deal with Paris Saint-Germain null and void has proved abortive.

La Liga asked the administrative tribunal to annul Mbappe’s contract as they believed that the 23-year-old's new deal breached Financial Fair Play rules.

However, the Administrative Court of Paris has reportedly denied La Liga's plea to have Mbappe's new Paris Saint-Germain contract terminated.

Multiple outlets in France have now confirmed via 90Min that the court has declined to grant a contract termination, arguing that there was no proof of rulebreaking.

Mbappe signed a new and improved deal with the French champions that will run until 2025 which includes a signing-on bonus in the region of £100 million with a monthly salary of £4 million which doubles his current PSG pay.

La Liga drags PSG and Mbappe to court over Frenchman's new mega-deal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Kylian Mbappe’s new mega-contract is still causing a rift between the Spanish Football league body and Paris Saint-Germain as La Liga has dragged the French champions to court.

The 23-year-old France forward was on the verge of joining Real Madrid this summer after agreeing to a verbal agreement with Los Blancos but did a turnaround and renewed his deal with PSG.

La Liga has now accused PSG of falsifying balance sheets and voluntarily far-fetched projected budgets in order to retain Kylian Mbappe and have taken the matter to a Paris administrative court Daily Mail report.
