Willian is reportedly considering a stunning return to Chelsea after just one season with the Gunners.
The Brazilian dumped the Blues last summer after the expiration of his deal and subsequently moved to Arsenal on a three-year deal as a free agent.
However, the winger has failed to leave a mark at the Emirates since his switch, managing just one goal in 37 appearances this season.
Metro UK now reports the midfielder is looking to quit Arsenal, with Sky Sports claiming he is angling for a return to Chelsea.
Major League Soccer outfit Inter Miami have also been touted as a possible destination for Willian.
It is believed Arsenal are more than willing to offload him following his underwhelming short stint in north London.
The development comes just months after Willian made it clear he was keen to stay at Chelsea, but the club declined to offer him a three-year contract.
"I didn’t leave the club with a fight, I left the doors open. Everyone knew the conditions, I really wanted to stay," he said earlier in the year.
"We ended up not finding an agreement, I ended up asking for three years, Chelsea wanted to give two, and everyone knows this story. That’s why I ended up leaving," he added.
Interestingly, Willian is not the only former Blues star looking to make a return to the west London club.
Recently, it was claimed Eden Hazard is also desperate to reunite with the Thomas Tuchel-tutored side after enduring a disappointing spell at Real Madrid.
Legit.ng reported Hazard has not had a rosy start to life at Real Madrid, two years after he sealed a dream move to the club.
Recurring injuries have hindered the Belgian's progress at the Spanish capital, where he was limited to just 10 La Liga appearances this season.
It is believed Real are also looking at offloading the ex-Lille star as the Spanish giants look to sign new players this summer.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Willian's teammate Thomas Partey attended night party hours after Arsenal's 2-0 win against Brighton in the last Premier League game of the season.
The Ghana international was reported to have flouted the COVID-19 rules at the party.
His actions come after Arsenal failed to finish among the top four at the end of the 2020/21 season.
Mikel Arteta and his wards failed to qualify for the Champions League and also the Europa League which is the Gunners' worst season in 25 years.
