Chelsea midfielder N’golo Kante is set to be out of action for upto four weeks with a knock, it has been revealed.
Kante did not complete 90 minutes in the London derby against Tottenham on Sunday, August 14 after picking up a hamstring injury.
He played for 84 minutes before eventually being taken off, with Chelsea conceding a last-minute equaliser against Antonio Conte’s men in his absence.
The Telegraph now reports that Kante will likely miss three to four weeks with injury, although MRI scans will likely reveal the extent of the damage.

Chelsea fixtures
Within the next month, Chelsea will play some interesting games in the league.
After a win and a draw against Everton and Tottenham in their opening two games, Thomas Tuchel’s men will now come up against Leeds United on Sunday, August 21 before hosting Leicester City six days later.
They then end the month with aa cash against Southampton at Saint Mary’s and September will begin with a London derby away at West Ham.
Tuchel will be hoping Kante recovers in time for the clash against Liverpool on September 18.
“It seems another muscle injury, the hamstring. He said he feels it pretty strong. So no good news.” Tuchel said after the Tottenham game.
Di Maria suffers injury in first Serie A game
In Serie A, Angel Di Maria is set to miss a number of games for Juventus with an adductor injury, Juventus has confirmed.

FootballDi Maria was instrumental for Juventus as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Sassuolo in their first Serie A match on Monday, August 15 as he came up with a goal and assist.
The club confirmed on their website that Di Maria, 34, has suffered a low-degree lesion in the adductor of his left thigh.
