According to Egyptian outlet OnTime Sports, Salah has donated three million Egyptian dollars, which equates to around £129,706, to the cause.
The cause of the fire incident in the St. Abu-Seifein Church was unknown. However, police said that an initial investigation has revealed that the electrical short-circuit could have caused the fire in Church.
The incident at the Church took place when the congregation was underway on Sunday.
