Manchester City and Arsenal are the only two sides who have managed to maintain a 100% winning run in the new Premier League season.

Both teams have secured back-to-back wins in two of their opening matches of the 2022/23 campaign.

The impressive start to the season has City topping the standings with six points but boasts a superior goal difference against Arsenal.

The Citizens kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 win over West Ham United before hammering Bournemouth 4-0 in their second fixture on Saturday, August 13.

Arsenal, meanwhile, curtain-raised the season with a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace, and managed to build on the momentum when they hosted Leicester City at the Emirates on Saturday.

Brentford, Spurs, Newcastle, Leeds, Chelsea, and Brighton all have four points after winning once and drawing another in two of their first fixtures.

Manchester United rooted bottom of the standings

Elsewhere, Man United are currently bottom of the log after a disappointing start to the new season.

Erik ten Hag's charges have lost all their opening matches of the season, with their latest defeat coming at Brentford, where they were hammered 4-0.

Having lost 2-1 against Brighton in their first match of the campaign, United were hoping to get their season back on track when they travelled to Brentford.

However, the Bees handed them yet another reality check as they left the community Stadium empty-handed.

Everton, West Ham United, and Crystal Palace are the other teams yet to pick a point this term.
