Wesley Fofana bids Leicester city fans goodbye

And on Saturday, August 13, Fofana appeared to say his goodbyes to the Leicester City fanbase as he inches closer to a summer exit.

The centre-back was spotted walking over to the Foxes supporters and applauding them shortly after his side's 4-2 defeat to the Gunners.

At the time, his teammates were chatting, swapping shirts and embracing.

Fofana is contracted at the King Power Stadium until 2027, having joined the Brendan Rodgers-tutored side in 2020 from Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne.

Despite his fast-rising star, the Frenchman is yet to the France national football senior team.

However, he has represented the U21 side on five occasions as he continues his development.

Kalidou Koulibaly scores wonderful first goal for Chelsea

Sports Brief has also reported that Senegalese captain, Kalidou Koulibaly, has scored his first-ever Chelsea goal and his debut English Premier League goal to give Chelsea the lead in their home game against Tottenham.

The 31-year-old smashed home from a Marc Cucurella corner kick to give the Blues the lead in the 19th minute of the London derby.

In a video posted on social media, Koulibaly met the cross from Cucurella and half-volleyed it home.
