Former Chelsea player and manager Ruud Gullit has provided tips to Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag on how he will succeed in the Old Trafford hot seat.
Ten Hag, who joined the Red Devils this summer, began his tenure at United on a losing note when his charges were stunned at home by Brighton and Hove Albion.
Providing insight on how the former Ajax gaffer will replicate his success in the Eredivisie in the Premier League, Gullit, speaking to Laureus via the Telegraph believes ten Hag must adapt.
“I think Ten Hag is a good coach, but if you come with a Dutch mentality only to come to England, it’s difficult,” added Gullit. “You have to adapt yourself. You have to understand that you don’t win games only with football, you need power as well.

“You need power, you need technique, you need stamina, you need the right mentality. If you see also, in midfield, you know, you need players who can play.”
