Real Madrid have snapped up an exciting young prospect and stuck it to FC Barcelona in the process.
Los Blancos agreed on a deal with Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen for a former prospect of the La Masia academy, Iker Bravo.
Bravo, a 17-year-old striker, was a former Barcelona player who broke into the club’s under-16 setup in 2020. He left Spain for Germany a year later, where he joined Bayer Leverkusen, Barca Universal reported.
Bravo, a Spanish national, made 17 appearances for Leverkusen's u/19 side last season and scored four goals and provided three assists

He impressed during his time in Germany and soon shot up the ranks at Leverkusen, performing well at both the under-17 and under-19 levels.
He was then handed a debut for the senior side in November last year. Bravo’s performances then caught the eye of Atletico Madrid, who first attempted to sign the layer. Real Madrid then came sniffing and reportedly sealed the deal to sign the youngster.

Bravo is likely going to play for Real Madrid’s reserve side, Castilla, upon arriving at the club. The side is coached by club legend Raul Gonzalez.
