It was the infamous game that Manchester United's legend Gary Neville was in charge of when his Valencia side were walloped 7-0 by Barcelona.
The Liverpool Echo reports that at halftime, with the score at 3-0, Barragán pleaded with Neymar to stop embarrassing his side. It is here that the Brazilian reportedly retorted,
Shut up. I earn ten times more than you.
Barragán was definitely shocked by Neymar's comments and duly got his revenge in a La Liga match two months later. This time, valencia beat Barcelona 2-1, with Barragán succeeding in shutting Neymar out completely.
The Spanish defender served his revenge cold by asking Neymar why wasn't he dancing around this time. Video footage from the game showed Neymar slapping Barragan.
Barragan, now 35 years old, had successful stints in La Liga with Deportivo La Coruna and Valencia after making only one appearance for Liverpool. The appearance came in the Champions League under Rafael Benitez.
