Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne took to their Instagram accounts to exchange some wholesome messages after bagging victory in their opening game of the season.
Haaland bagged a brace in his first-ever game in the Premier League after joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund. De Bruyne was instrumental in setting up his second goal by providing his trademark defence-splitting passes.
The Norwegian then slotted the ball past Alphonse Areola in the West Ham United goal to guarantee a 2-0 win for the defending champions.

Haaland thereafter posted an image on Instagram showing a hotel or restaurant setting. The caption read,
About to order the whole menu.
De Bruyne took cue and commented,
Do you want me to hold the menu and assist you?
Haaland then responded,
Yes, I'm dreaming of it every night. Don't know why.
The partnership between the two is widely expected to bear fruit under Pep Guardiola this season. De Bruyne is known for his crosses that often make it easy for forwards to turn them into goals, while Haaland has already established himself as a goal poacher.
Sports Brief had earlier reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has disclosed his top marksman Erling Haaland's desperation to get off the mark on his Premier League debut would have seen the Norwegian punch his teammates if they had tried to stop him from taking the penalty.
