Man United in talks to sign Benjamin Sesko and Marko Arnautovic

Express UK now reports that Man United have entered talks to sign Benjamin Sesko and Marko Arnautovic in the coming days to help bolster Ten Hag's attack.

According to the publication, both signings are independent, meaning United could sign both players during the ongoing transfer window.

Sesko, who currently turns out for RB Salzburg, has widely been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with ESPN claiming United are already in talks over the signing of the promising striker.

Arnautovic, meanwhile, is wanted at the Theatre of Dreams for his experience, with the veteran striker well known to Ten Hag.

The 33-year-old netted 14 goals in 33 Serie A appearances for Bologna and has been touted as an ideal player who can add more firepower to Ten Hag's squad.

Man United begin 2022-23 Premier League season on a losing note

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Erik Ten Hag was handed a nightmare Premier League debut as Manchester United manager when his side stumbled to an opening day defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion.

A brace from Pascal Gross rendered an own goal from Mac Allister only a consolation as the Seagulls clinched their maiden win over Man United at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

It would prove to be a big blow to Man United, who had a fairly positive pre-season, and Ten Hag will have a massive task to remould the club's fortunes this season.
