Spartak Moscow have announced that Super Eagles legend Victor Moses has suffered an injury and the winger will be out of action for the next six months which is not a good development.
The 31-year-old former Chelsea star suffered the injury while playing for Spartak Moscow in their 2-0 away win against Ural on Saturday, 6 August.
It was in the 32nd minute of the encounter that Victor Moses suffered the injury and had to leave the pitch on crutches.
According to the statement Spartak Moscow made on their website, the Russian club wished the Nigerian winger quick recovery from his injury.

Spartak Moscow's statement about Victor Moses
“Spartak midfielder Victor Moses, who was injured in the RPL 4th round match in Yekaterinburg, underwent a medical examination.
“The Nigerian has been diagnosed with an Achilles tendon injury. The player will have to undergo surgery. It will take about six months to recover from the injury.
“We wish Victor a speedy return to the field.''

Victor Moses joined Spartak Moscow permanently in 2021 and the Nigerian has played 28 games netting four goals.
