Ghana clinched their first win at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations championship in Egypt after beating Guinea-Bissau 2-0 at the Suez Stadium.

The Black Stars needed outright victory to ensure they progress to the next round and they secured the much needed victory at the end of the fixture.

Jordan Ayew broke the deadlock just one minute after returning from the half time break through a superb strike.

Before Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey sealed the victory in the 72nd minute and wrap up their group campaign as the leaders of Group F with 5 points after three matches.

And also shared the spoils with defending champions Cameroon in their second group fixture but went ahead to secure the much needed win after their match day three encounter.
