“He’s a great guy, great player and I think unfortunately for us he will be a great signing for Manchester City! For sure he will score some goals.
“I wish him all the best except for when we play them. It will be fun to see him in England.
“When all the Arsenal fans were posting pictures of him and me I would send it to him. I tried but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough… he just laughed.”

FootballArsenal names Martin Odegaard as new captain
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Premier League side Arsenal have appointed Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard as the club's new captain ahead of the 2022-23 season.
Odegaard, formerly of Real Madrid, initially joined the Gunners on loan before going on to sign a permanent deal with the Emirates Stadium outfit and will lead Arsenal in the forthcoming season.
He succeeds Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was shipped out of the team to Barcelona in January and is expected to bring his exceptional leadership skills to the fore.
