Paul Pogba has reportedly opted against undergoing surgery on his knee as he retains hope to feature for France in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Having only recently signed for Juventus from Manchester United, the midfielder was dealt a blow after sustaining an injury to his knee in training as Juventus were on tour in America.
Daily Mail reports that Pogba visited a specialist in Lyon on Tuesday, August 2, and he was advised not to undergo surgery.

What is for certain is Pogba will miss the start of the Serie A season with Juventus, as the treatment is likely to keep him out for five weeks.

Treatment will entail the gym in the first three weeks, then he will see out his recovery on the pitch for two weeks in light sessions.
Pogba is expected to return before the first international break of the new season, meaning he might be available for Juventus before the Champions League group stage kicks off.
