Agents of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen are reportedly making efforts to discuss his possible transfer with Napoli officials.

The Italian club seem to have decided to retain the player for the forthcoming football season.

Quite a number of top clubs in Europe have made efforts to sign the former Lille man, including Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Soccernet reports that Napoli have seen some players leave during this summer transfer window, and they will not sanction the sale of the Super Eagles forward at any price.

Earlier during the summer transfer window, Napoli were prepared to let the 23-year-old leave after slamming a staggering €120 million transfer fee on him.

The Partenopei did not get the Nigerian cheap either, as they paid a club and African record 81 million euros to secure him from Lille two years ago.

Italian outfit Il Mattino (via Tutto Napoli) reports that Osimhen’s representatives have been trying to book an appointment and discuss transfer plans with Napoli’s sporting director Giuntoli.

It was gathered that the Partenopei made it clear to them that there would be no further discussion on any proposal that will take Osimhen out of the Diego Maradona Stadium this year.
