Asamoah Gyan has been snubbed by former manager Steve Bruce after naming the top eighteen player he coached without the Ghanaian legend.

The former Ghana captain was Sunderland's star in 2010 when Steve Bruce was manager of the Black Cats.

However, in a list released by Steve Bruce, the striker could not find a place in the 18-man squad.

Asamoah Gyan scored ten goals in the English Premier League under Steve Bruce, but left after just a season to join Al Ain in the Gulf.
