Orlando Pirates cult hero Steve Lekoelea sends warning to the club's new signings
FootballArsenal Could Use Bernd Leno to Get Youri Tielemans From Leicester City Amidst Thomas Partey Uncertainty
- Arsenal will be looking to kill two birds with one stone by offering out-of-favour goalkeeper Bernd Leno to Leicester City in exchange for Youri Tielemans
- Tielemans is said to be keen on the move, but Mikel Arteta's side are yet to make any known official bid
- Leno has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal following the impressive performances of Aaron Ramsdale
Arsenal are said to be considering the possibility of using Bernd Leno to convince Leicester City to part ways with Youri Tielemans.
Tielemans has been linked with a move away from King Power Stadium for the better part of the transfer window. The Belgian has only one year left on his contract and it is understood he is not ready to commit to a new deal.
The Mirror now reports that Arsenal could take advantage of Kasper Schmeichel's desire to leave. The veteran goalkeeper is apparently ready to quit Leicester, but only if the club can get a perfect replacement. French club Nice are said to be the frontrunners to scoop the Dane.

Enter the Bernd Leno equation. Leno is also angling for a move away after seeing Aaron Ramsdale come in and take his number one spot. The signing of Matt Turner could also mean that he will be relegated to being a third-choice goalkeeper.
Fulham had expressed interest in taking the German, but the deal is understood to have gone cold. The Gunners could now approach Leicester with the offer of solving their goalkeeper issues.
The signing of Tielemans could help alleviate some pressure on Thomas Partey. The Ghanaian has been dodged by injuries since moving to the Premier League. There is also some sense of growing disquiet that continues after an unidentified woman made some damaging, alledged revelations about him.
Nuno Tavares is set to join Marseille on loan
Arsenal agree £30m deal for another Man City star days after they landed Gabriel Jesus
FootballSports Brief had earlier reported that Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares is reportedly set to join Marseille on loan this summer.
Tavares has struggled to make an impact at the Emirates since joining the Gunners from Benfica last summer.
The arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko from Man City has further complicated the left-back's place in Arsenal's squad.
