Ronaldo, who made a fairytale return to Manchester last summer, was unavailable for United's pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia citing family reasons for his absence.
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old Portuguese captain has dominated transfer news with multiple speculations linking him to a move away from Old Trafford.

His posture has divided opinions among fans of United but a former teammate, Louis Saha, who play alongside Ronaldo for four years, believes it's time for the Red Devils to offload the Portuguese.
When asked by Squawka courtesy of bet365 whether Man Utd should sell Ronaldo, Saha responded: “Yeah, if he doesn’t want to play for the club anymore, you have to get rid of him.
“He didn’t participate in the tour; he’s not been in training, so you have to show discipline.
“He’s a world-class player so maybe his circumstances are unique but there is a limit to what you can take.
“The group needs to gel, it’s not an individual sport. I’m the biggest supporter of Cristiano, I understand his priorities but at some point, the disruption has to stop.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that it has now emerged that the first round of talks between Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United officials have broken down.
Ronaldo is said to be still keen on forcing his exit out of the club this summer. After skipping preseason training, the Portuguese international was seen at Carrington Training Ground yesterday.
Reports had indicated that he was back to try and find a solution to his immediate future. Club legend Sir Alex Ferguson and the club's Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Richard Arnold were also spotted at the training complex.
