Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly blocked Timo Werner's possible Stamford Bridge summer exit.
Werner has widely been linked with a move away after enduring a tumultuous two-year spell with the Blues.
The German forward has struggled to make an impact since his arrival from RB Leipzig in a £47.5 million deal in 2020, scoring just 23 goals in 89 appearances for the west Londoners.
According to Metro UK, Leipzig have shown interest in re-signing the 26-year-old this summer, ina move that would end his Premier League nightmare.

It is understood that Werner is also keen on a move away as he pushes to rediscover his spark ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

However, Tuchel is said to have blocked any attempts by interested parties to have Werner depart the club.
Kicker reports that the Blues' boss still has Werner in his plans and wants the German forward to be part of his squad ahead of the new season.
However, Werner is said to be wary over his lack of playing time, having managed just 15 Premier League starts last season.
Recently, the ex-Leipzig ace suggested that he was open to departing Stamford Bridge for a move elsewhere.
