Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville has urged Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong to take legal against Barcelona following the Spanish giant’s refusal to pay him his owed salaries.
The 25-year-old midfielder is opposed to leaving Barcelona despite the club agreeing a fee of £70m deal for his transfer to Old Transfer as he wants the £17m the Catalan giants owe him.
According to the Daily Mail, Neville criticized the Barcelona on social media for not paying their current players with the inflow of cash.

Barcelona has generated a huge influx of cash after selling the club’s TV rights but has used the money to finance the signing of top players into the club instead of settling the debt owed De Jong.
The Spanish giants signed Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha for top money this summer and are also favourites to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are not yet over their troubles with the Spanish football authorities as they need to also register the new players they have bought for the La Liga.
According to Barca Universal, the Spanish giants need at least €100 million to balance their books and are relying on the sale of Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay to raise the sum.
