Rapper Cassper Nvovest proved that his kick is as powerful as his punch.
Cassper, whose real name is Refiloe Phoolo, stunned those in attendance at the second annual Jammin' 2 Soccer Celebrity Games tournament with an unstoppable strike at the Wits Football Stadium in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
According to Gauteng Lifestyle Magazine, the competition sees select artists from four popular music genres - gqom, amapiano, hip-hop and maskandi - lock horns in all-star teams for bragging rights and a cash prize.
Captained by Big Zulu, Cassper's goal contributed to a 3-2 Hip-Hop FC victory over Gqom FC (led by DJ Tira) in the first semifinal. Maskandi FC, with Khuzani at the helm, defeated the Kabza de Small-led Amapiano FC on penalties after a 1-1 draw. The losing semifinalists took home R25 000 each for their efforts.

In the final, Maskandi saw off Hip-Hop 1-0 to claim the R100 000 prize money, while the latter had to make do with R50 000 as a consolation prize.
Cassper has forayed into amateur boxing, hammering YouTube celebrity troll Slik Talk late last year, before being defeated by NaakMusiQ in a bout that was held at Sun City in April.
