There was an interesting moment during Juventus’ game against Guadalajara on Saturday as debutnt Angel Di Maria was brutally wiped by the match referee.
In their first game of preseason, the Bianconeri showed glimpses of their class as they cruised to a 2-0 victory at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

But in arguably the most memorable moment of the match, Di Maria nearly suffered a horrific injury, and the man responsible was none other than the referee.
The ref, unfortunately, could not get away in time and his momentum went right into the Juventus winger, who went sprawling to the ground.
Both men ended up on the turf, but Di Maria came off worse as it looked like the ref’s arm inadvertently caught him.
Luckily, the 35th-minute incident was not enough to force Di Maria off and he managed to get on with the game.
What Allegri said about his team
Speaking after the game, Allegri was full of praise for his side, as he noted there was still room for improvement ahead of the new season.
“It was a good test. The team have worked hard in Turin and you can see the result on the pitch,” Allegri said in his press conference, as per Juventusnews24.
