FootballRomelu Lukaku: Chelsea Flop Forced on Strict Diet After He Arrived Back at Inter Milan Overweight
- Romelu Likaku has been put on a strict diet and training program after it emerged that he arrived back at Inter Milan overweight

- It is believed that the 101 kilograms or below is what helped him to score many goals in the Serie A and guide them to the title
It has now emerged that Romelu Lukaku arrived for Inter Milan's pre-season training overweight. It is understood that the burly striker was out of shape after he completed his move from Chelsea.
Lukaku spent one season away in London, where things did not turn out as expected. After conducting an authorised interview, he fell out with Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel and the club's fanbase.
He had initially signed a five-year deal to join Chelsea, but both parties agreed to cut their ties and sent him back on loan at Inter Milan. He had thrived in Italy the season before, where he helped Inter Milan win their first Scudetto since 2010.

But as Daily Mail reports, Inter Milan physios were worried after Lukaku came back slightly overweight. During their title-winning season, Lukaku weighed approximately 101 kilograms. It is believed that it was this perfect shape that helped him score 65 goals in the two seasons he was at the club.
Now under Simone Inzaghi, the Belgian has been put on a strict Meditteranean diet which consists of food such as salad, fish, chicken and shirataki pasta.
He will be hoping to rediscover his goalscoring touch with Lautaro Martinez. The duo combined to devastating effects during Lukaku's first-year stint.
