Real Madrid are gearing up for their first game of pre-season and no one is more excited than Lucas Vazquez.
Madrid will take on arch-rivals Barcelona in the first El Clasico of the season in Las Vegas on Sunday morning.
Los Blancos have yet to play a game in pre-season while Barcelona have already taken on Inter Miami and Olot, but Vazquez is pumped up for the big game, Football Espana reported.
“It’s always a beautiful game against Barca. We’re going into it with a lot of desire to get into a rhythm, to create a good feeling,” he said.

The Clasico will be Madrid’s first of three pre-season fixtures in the United States of America. They will also take on Club America and end of their tour with a game against Juventus next week.
Many can be dismissive of the money-making aspect of these tours, but While the game may be just a friendly, Vazquez underlined the benefits of such a game to build a stronger bond between the players ahead of the new season.
“It’s going to help us to make the group strong. That will make the team work and play better,” he added.
It’s not just Vazquez that is excited about the clash, Barcelona’s Raphinha is also rearing to go.
The new signing recently said that the Blaugrana were better than Madrid, after beating Inter Miami 6-0, Goal reported.

Barcelona star, Raphinha is already boasting of the La Liga team’s quality ahead of the 2022/23 football after walloping MLS outfit, Inter Miami 6-0 in a preseason friendly on Wednesday, July 20.
Raphinha who joined Barcelona this summer after leaving the Premier League side, Leeds United for the Camp Nou, scored one goal and provided two assists in the game.
The 25-year-old has now sent a warning shot to Real Madrid after he boasted the Catalan giants are way better than their La Liga rivals.
