Nigerian music sensation Davido was on duty during the 2022 CAF awards in Morocco as the continental body honours the best players for last season.
This is coming days after the music star was involved in political activities helping his uncle Ademola Adeleke to defeat the incumbent governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola.
On the award night in Morocco, the ‘Jowo’ crooner stepped on stage alongside Togolese legend Emmanuel Adebayor to present the CAF Men’s Young Player of the Year Award
Hannibal Mejbri of Tunisia & Manchester United; Karim Konate of Cote d’Ivoire & ASEC/RB Salzburg and Pape Matar Sarr of Senegal & Tottenham Hotspur were the three players shortlisted for the prize.

And it was Senegal star Pape Matar Sarr who scooped the award, thanks to his role in the Teranga Lions’ win at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations earlier in the year.
Davido was seen in a black suit as his diamond 'blings' glittered around his neck as he looks dapper on the night.
Mane named CAF Player of the Year
Meanwhile, Sadio Mane has been named the Africa Footballer of the Year for the second consecutive time beating former teammate Mohamed Salah to the 2022 award.
The former Liverpool star won the last edition of the awards which was held in 2019.

The Black Princesses captain beats off competition from ex-teammate Doris Boaduwaa and Morocco's youngster Yasmine Zouhir.
Badu won the award following her scintillating display in the inaugural edition of CAF Women's Champions League.
