Bayern Munich have celebrated Senegalese attacker Sadio Mane after he was named the best African player at the CAF awards.
Mane was crowned player of the year after seeing off competition from former teammate Mohamed Salah and compatriot Edoaurd Mendy.
In a message posted to social media, the Bavarians shared in his success as they congratulated the winger, who joined them in the summer transfer window.
"African Player of the Year, Congratulations Mane," the club wrote on Twitter with a beautifully designed artwork of the forward.

Mane left Liverpool this summer to join the Germany champions after six successful season at the Merseyside club.
Before joining Bayern, Mane led Liverpool to three finals last season, winning the domestic double of FA Cup and Carabao Cup before losing the UEFA Champions League final to Real Madrid.
He also led Senegal to a historic Africa Cup of Nations triumph early this year.

Mane arrives in Morocco for CAF awards
Senegal winger Sadio Mane has arrived in Morocco for the CAF Football Awards tonight just few hours after netting his debut goal for German giants Bayern Munich in a friendly against MLS side DC United.
Mane was given permission by the Bundesliga champions to leave camp and attend the continent's biggest sports award show.
In a video posted on social media, the winger is seen heading towards his based before tonight's ceremony.
