Edinson Cavani could be lured to move to the Spanish La Liga when the 2022/23 football season kicks off as Villareal has indicated an interest in signing the Uruguayan forward.
Villareal coach, Unai Emery is keen on bringing the 35-year-old forward to the Estadio de la Ceramica next season as he has previously worked with Cavani while in charge of Paris Saint-Germain.
The Yellow Submarines must however first offload current striker, Paco Alcacer before they can attempt to sign Cavani who is now a free agent after leaving Manchester United Caught Offside reports.
