While the reality of this happening is very much unlikely, Messi has never shied away from discussing the idea.
Back in in 2015, the Paris Sint-Germain superstar was asked about the prospect of sharing a locker room with Ronaldo and if it would be something he would fancy.

In his response, the Argentine forward was quick to admit that he would love playing with Ronaldo but hinted that this would unlikely happen.
"Yes, of course. I always like to play with the best, and he is one of them. I think it will be difficult for us to play in the same team, but obviously, I would like to," Messi said per Sportbible.
"I was lucky enough to play and participate with many very good players and, obviously, I would also like to do it with him," he added.
