Gianluigi Buffon has disclosed he has no intentions of hanging up his boots anytime soon.
The legendary goalkeeper, now 44, is currently going strong and preparing for season number 28 in professional football.
Having left Juventus last summer, Buffon is currently with his boyhood side FC Parma, and is expected to still be an integral part of the side for the upcoming campaign.
Last season, the 2006 World Cup winner impressively made 28 appearances for Parma and ahead of the new season, he played down talks of retirement, saying as per SportBible:

"Ten years in Parma in his first life, then 20 years at Juve in his second life, then one to Paris, two to Juve and now I close the circle in Parma and I'm in my second year," said Buffon, reflecting on his illustrious career in football.
"And I'm not 100. Retired at 55? More or less. Will I train after the retirement? I have been thinking for many years about when I will stop. My ideas get confused, I've been thinking about it for 10 years but then I always go on."
The legendary shot-stopper also hinted he would take up a different career path once he finally hung his gloves.
"Maybe I'll experience something else, I know football, I'm curious and I also like to know other worlds."

Having made his debut for Parma in 1995, Buffon has impressively gone on to make a staggering 956 first-team appearances in football.

For the national team, he is the most capped player for the Azzuri, having earned an impressive 176 caps.
Parma are currently in the Serie B and will aim for promotion in the top flight once again in the upcoming season.
Fabregas set to join Serie B side
Elsewhere, Cesc Fabregas could join Buffon in the Italian Serie B.
The former Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona man is currently without a club after parting ways with Ligue 1 side Monaco at the end of last season.
Fresh reports from Italy on Friday, July 15 now suggest Fabregas is more likely to join Como, who finished in 14th place in Serie B last season.
