FC Barcelona have officially unveiled Raphinha as the club's third signing in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Brazilian forward was presented to the fans on Friday, July 15 at the Cuitat Esportiva in Barcelona.

Raphinha has been on the radar of the Catalan giants since January as Xavi looks to bolster his frontline for the upcoming season.

Raphinha joined Leeds United from French club Stade Rennes in 2020.

He has scored 17 goals and notched 12 assists in 65 Premier League games in his two seasons with the Elland Road club.

Raphinha has been subject to intense transfer speculations, with all pointers indicating he will play for a different club next season.

English Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea were interested in signing the ex-Rennes star man, but the 25-year-old forward opted to fulfil his childhood dream of playing for Barcelona.

Barcelona are now aiming to build one of the most competitive teams ahead of the 2022/23 football season and the club is set to intensify their pursuit of Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea.

Barcelona Confirm Agreement to Sign Talented Brazilian Winger Raphinha

Sports Brief earlier reported that Spanish giants FC Barcelona have reached an 'agreement in principle' to sign Raphinha from English Premier League club Leeds United.

The Catalan club announced on Wednesday, July 13, that the transfer is expected to be completed in the coming hours when the Brazilian winger passes his medical.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Blaugrana are expected to pay a €58 million fixed fee plus various add-ons, which could amount to €67 million in a total package.
