Popular football commentator Peter Drury has mentioned Mohamed Salah and Didier Drogba as some of the greatest Africans he has seen play in the English Premier League.

It's hard to have this list without Mohamed Salah, who must be right at the top for obvious reasons. He is a fantastic player to watch. And he is still going on.
There have also been very few strikers in the Premier League as brilliant and powerful as Didier Drogba. He should be right up there as well.
Few will argue with Drury's sentiments given the tonnes of honours the aforementioned two have achieved in the Premier League. Salah, so far, has one Premier League to his name but has the luxury of being still in the game.
He recently surpassed Drogba as the top-scoring African in the Premier League. Drogba had long held the record with 104 goals to his name during his illustrious career at Chelsea.
Drury also reminisced on the goal former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama scored against Liverpool when he was a Tottenham Hotspur player.
Didier Drogba posts cryptic photo of Cristiano Ronaldo as Man United star is linked with shock Chelsea move
FootballHe was absolutely fantastic as well. I will never forget the wonderful goal he scored for Tottenham at Anfield. He crashed it from 40 yards.
The renowned commentator will sadly be moving away from the African market after signing a contract with American broadcaster NBC.
Peter Drury chooses Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo
Sports Brief had earlier reported that in life, three things are certain, death, taxes and the fact that the debate of who is better between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will never end.
Different personalities have always been sucked into the conversation, and some are even forced to pick sides.
Drury is a legend in his own right, having built a reputation for himself for his poetic lines when commentating football. Whilst he has always remained impartial, Drury had to settle for one in a conversation with Nana Aba. And he picked Messi.
