Soon-to-be Ghana international, Nico Williams, has stated that he will be staying at Athletic Bilbao amid interest from English giants Manchester United and Liverpool.
The 20-year-old forward is reportedly being tracked by the English Premier League clubs in the summer transfer window.
However, in an interview with Tv3, the budding attacker reiterated his ambitions of helping Athletic Bilbao win trophies ahead of the upcoming season, and has no interest in leaving Spain.
“I love Bilbao. I love Athletic Club. I want to be there with my brother and all my teammates. It’s like a family for me. I want to stay in Bilbao,” he said as quoted by 3Sports.

“I want to win trophies for Bilbao. Bilbao is like a family to me. My brother has won cups there and I want to give more to Bilbao.”
Nico Williams is younger brother to new Black Stars striker Inaki Williams, and looks to follow the footsteps of the Athletic Bilbao legend.
The talented winger enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in La Liga last season, making 34 appearances for the Red and Whites.
He also featured in the Copa de Rey, where he netted twice and was also on target in the Super Copa.
Manchester United and Liverpool are keenly monitoring the progress of the Spain U21 striker.
