It only took 29 minutes for former Arsenal man Mesut Ozil to make public news that he had bounced back in football after parting ways with Fenerbahce.
After a dream arrival at the Turkish club, Mesut Ozil’s time at fenerbahce was fairly underwhelming and 18 months later, the German’s contract was ripped apart.
Things took a turn for the worse for Ozil after a fallout with coach Ismail Kartal, and the midfielder did not play for the club since March.
He still had two more years before his contract was to come to an end but Fenerbahce decided against the services of the former Arsenal man.

On Wednesday, he was finally released from his contract, with the club releasing a statement saying:
"It has been agreed that the contract between our club and Mesut Ozil will be terminated by mutual agreement.
Instant comeback
Barely minutes after the announcement and Ozil was all smiles on his social media as he announced he had found a new club.
Less than an hour after news of his exit from Fenerbahce, Ozil revealed he had signed for arch rivals Istanbul Basaksehir.
Through his Instagram, Ozil shared a photo with his new club bosses with the caption, “New chapter”.
Ozil’s new club Istanbul Basaksehir is a giant in Turkey in terms of ambitions, and they finished fourth in the top tier league last season.
