Antonio Conte has brilliantly explained the plans he has for new signing Richarlison ahead of the new season.
The Brazilian starred in Tottenham’s first preseason game which the North London side comfortably won 6-3 against K-League All-Stars in South Korea.
Richarlison played for 76 minutes in the game as Conte prepares for the 2022/23 campaign set to commence in a little under three weeks’ time.
One thing fans noted about the game was the fact that Richarlison constantly shifted positions, initially being started as a striker, before being moved to the right wing.

Late in the game, the former Everton man briefly played as a supporting striker.
After the game, Conte was not afraid to discuss why he used Richarlison in that manner.
In fact, the Spurs boss hinted that the decision was deliberate, and he planned on using the Brazilian in all three roles in the upcoming campaign.
“Today, I have seen a lot of positive things about Richy. In the first half, he played as a number nine, and in the second half, he played on the right and in behind the striker. He can play in all three positions.” He said as quoted by Express Sport.
"He's a good character and has good qualities. We are working on the tactical aspect with him because he has to go into our idea and also the physical aspect because he has to be fit. He is a player who gives me important options. I'm very happy that we signed him."
