Port Harcourt-based Rivers United will be officially crowned champions of this season's Nigeria Professional Football League immediately after their game against Gombe United on July 17.

The Pride of Rivers emerged winners of this campaign after Plateau United suffered defeat in the hands of Akwa United.

And the new kings will be handed the prestigious title right after their final match of the season inside the main bowl of the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
