Former Manchester United player Marcos Rojo made headlines for all the wrong reasons recently.
Rojo left Old Trafford and found a new home in his native Argentina, signing with Boca Juniors.
Known for losing his cool on the field of play, Rojo was lucky not to receive a red card this past week during a game against San Lorenzo, The Mirror reported.
Rojo wiped out an opposition player in the dying minutes of the game, shoulder charging the San Lorenzo player, making contact with his jaw. The ball was not being contested by Rojo or the San Lorenzo player, and the latter was left in a heap on the ground.

Rojo was not sanctioned for the offence, even after the Video Assistant Referee reviewed it again. Rojo did score to give his side the lead but Boca Juniors would go on to lose the game 2-1.
Despite finishing fourth last season, Boca Juniors find themselves struggling for form this season. They are currently 14th in the second phase of the Primera Division.

Rojo, who ended his spell in Europe by making a return to Argentina, decided to show his gangster side as he was seen smoking and drinking a can of beer on the pitch after the victory.
