Super Eagles Star Henry Onyekuru Joins Mario Balotelli at Turkish Club Adana Demirspor

• Nigerian international Henry Onyekuru is on the move again as he has now joined Turkish top flight club Adana Demirspor on loan
• Onyekuru joins Adana Demirspor from Greek giants Olympiacos where he had a relatively poor campaign last season
• But the 25-year-old will be hoping to rediscover his form as he teams up with Mario Balotelli and Loic Remy at his new club

Super Eagles attacker Henry Onyekuru has completed a season-long loan move to Turkish club Adana Demirspor.

The club announced the signing of the Nigerian international on their official Twitter account on Sunday, July 10, with a picture of the 25-year-old in the colours of the club.

Soccernet.ng reports that Adana Demirspor will activate the option in Onyekuru's contract to keep him beyond his loan spell if things go according to plan.

The pacy winger joins Adana Demirspor from Greek giants Olympiacos where he had a poor campaign last season.

Having joined Olympiacos on a four-year deal last summer from Monaco, Onyekuru only managed one goal and an assist for the team all season.

Onyekuru joins Balotelli and Remy at Adana Demirspor

Onyekuru is now set to team up with former Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli and ex-Chelsea striker Loic Remy at his new club.

This will however not be Onyekuru's first time in Turkey as he is quite a popular figure at Turkish giants Galatasary where he spent three seasons on loan and formed a good relationship with manager Fatih Terim.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Henry Onyekuru completed a permanent move to Greek champions Olympiacos where he is expected to be until 2025 joining from Monaco.

Olympiacos took to their official page to announce the latest development about the Super Eagles star wishing him all the best in the coming season in Greece.

After joining Monaco in the year 2019, Henry Onyekuru failed to command regular games at the French side featuring in only eight games before being loaned to Galatasaray.
